Mythmaker is a library of interactive stories. This page covers the waitlist: what happens to your information when you sign up, and what you can do about it.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you join the waitlist.
- Basic signup and email records kept by our email service: when you signed up and confirmed, the IP address you signed up from, and whether you open or click our emails.
- Standard technical data any website receives, such as your IP address and browser type, which our hosting provider may log briefly to run the site.
We don't ask for your name, and the waitlist page doesn't use advertising trackers.
How we use it
To email you when the Mythmaker library opens and when new stories are released. That's all. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
Who handles it
We don't sell, rent or trade your information. A few services help run the waitlist and only process data so they can do that job:
- MailerLite stores the list and sends our emails.
- Netlify hosts this website.
- Google Fonts serves the typeface on this page, so Google receives your IP address when the page loads.
These services may process data outside your country, including in the United States and the European Union.
How long we keep it
Until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. After you unsubscribe, MailerLite may keep a record of your address so you aren't emailed again by mistake.
Your choices
- Unsubscribe anytime with the link at the bottom of any email.
- See or delete your data: email us and we'll send you what we hold or remove it. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example, the EU, the UK or California), you may have further rights over your data. Email us to use any of them.
Children
Mythmaker isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child under 13 has signed up, email us and we'll delete it.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, we'll update the date above, and we'll tell people on the list before any bigger change takes effect.
